The Great Backyard Bird Count (GBBC) is a global citizen science event that takes place every winter. The event encourages people to get outside, connect with nature, with birds and with one another.
We’ll have guided bird walks with local birding experts; a touch table for kids featuring bird nests, bones, beaks and feathers; interactive games and other bird related activities; and we’ll identify and count the birds at Miller Woods and submit the data to the GBBC.
