WE HAVE A VISION THAT OUR FUTURE GENERATIONS WILL HAVE CLEAN WATER TO DRINK, HEALTHY SOIL TO FARM, UNCONTAMINATED STREAMS TO PLAY IN, AND WILL BE ABLE TO EXPERIENCE FISHING AND WILDLIFE IN THEIR NATURAL HABITAT.

From planting trees to cleaning up streams to educating young volunteers, the GYWC is working toward this vision. As more people join the movement, we get closer and closer to empowering our community to take action and make a difference. To ensure success, we need your support!

Perhaps wading in streams looking for dead salmon carcasses is not your ideal morning activity, but you still want to support the cause: donate to the GYWC instead!  As a 501(c)(3) non-profit, the GYWC has limited resources to complete the many projects which positively impact everyone living in our area. Your tax-deductible donation allows the GYWC to continue restoring and protecting the Greater Yamhill Watershed.

Your gift is important.

Contributions the GYWC continue the important work that benefits our local area:

  • Re-foresting Streams & Rivers

  • Controlling Noxious Weeds

  • Providing Unique Outdoor Experiences for Volunteering & Service Learning

  • Monitoring Water Quality and Quantity

  • Monitoring Local Fish Populations, including salmon and steelhead trout

  • Protecting and Improving Historic Oak and Prairie Habitats

  • Educating Youth & Adults

  • And more!
