Improved upland habitat (1.4 acres) of large legacy Oregon white oak trees that were being encroached by non-native overstory trees and shrubs. Removed Armenian blackberry, English Ivy, English Hawthorne, and English Holly, among other species. Controlled target weeds / brush for long-term maintenance. Native understory plants established by seeding Roemer’s fescue, milkweed and 24 other species of wildflowers.
